The ethical dilemma arises from the social and economic impact on individuals who lose their jobs, leading to increased unemployment, income inequality, and job insecurity.

To mitigate the negative impacts of AI-induced job displacement, tech leaders can take several proactive steps, according to the Stanford Social Innovation Review. First, communicate transparently with your workforce about potential changes and provide adequate support during transitions. If it is possible, consider implementing AI in a way that augments rather than replaces human labor.
