English Proficiency
Required English Level at UoPeople
UoPeople is an accredited, American university with degree programs taught in English. Students who are not native English speakers must demonstrate proficiency in English before beginning their studies toward a degree program.
Native English speakers, and those who have previously earned a diploma from an accredited English-language institution, automatically meet this requirement and do not need to provide additional proof of proficiency.
Note: English Proficiency is not a requirement for those wishing to study in Arabic. For more information about UoPeople’s Arabic-language programs, click here.
