UoPeople is joining with the Rural Community College Alliance (RCCA) to make higher education more accessible and affordable for their students than ever before. Through this transfer agreement, RCCA’s network of over 300 colleges serving 3.4 million students can now take advantage of an easy, streamlined process to transfer associate degrees into UoPeople’s tuition-free bachelor’s programs. Students can complete their four-year degree without the burden of taking on student loans or the need to relocate.

Earn a bachelor’s for less than $3,700 when transferring an associate degree
Transfer up to 30 courses (90 credits) toward a UoPeople bachelor’s degree program
Associate degree holders get their first 20 courses (60 credits) transferred at no cost

“Tuition-free” means that unlike other universities, UoPeople doesn’t charge students tuition. Instead, students who wish to take the final exam and complete a course, they simple pay a nominal assessment fee. UoPeople also doesn’t charge students to enroll, to pay for books or other course materials, or for campus fees. Our unique online model of higher education allows us to bring the classroom to you– cutting the cost for our students overall.

UoPeople offers a generous transfer credit policy that allows your associates degree to transfer to the related bachelor’s degree at UoPeople. UoPeople makes the admission and transfer process easy! During the brief admission application process, you will be able to upload your OFFICIAL transcripts into your student portal. Within 72 hours, our Transfer Evaluation team will provide you with an evaluation of your transfer courses.

Because UoPeople does not charge tuition, there is no need to fill lengthy financial aid paperwork. During the admission process, you will be asked a few brief questions to determine your eligibility for UoPeople scholarships.

UoPeople Foundation courses provide students with an understanding of the unique UoPeople method and allows them to assess whether online learning is right for them. Completing UoPeople Foundations is a requirement for all UoPeople students. Foundations courses vary according to the degree program a prospective student is interested in, whether it is an undergraduate or graduate degree.

The second foundations course is an introductory course for the major. Undergraduate students who are transferring with an associates degree and who have completed the introductory course for their chosen major are exempt from the second foundations course.

For graduate students, UoPeople Foundations courses provide students with an understanding of the unique UoPeople method and allows them to assess whether online learning is right for them.
