Conrad Hughes

Conrad Hughes is Head of School at the Lycée International de Los Angeles. He is also Professor in Practice at the University of Durham’s School of Education, Senior Fellow at UNESCO’s International Bureau of Education, and a member of the University of the People’s Education Advisory Board. Previously Director General of the International School of Geneva, he has held leadership and teaching positions in schools in Switzerland, France, India, and the Netherlands. A renowned public speaker and author, Conrad’s most recent book is Changing Assessment: How to Design Curriculum for Human Flourishing (2025).
