I cannot provide transcripts because I’m a refugee – what can I do?

Please contact your Admissions or Program Advisor in this case.

If I have more than one transcript, should I apply with them both in one application?

Yes. Because you will not be able to submit additional applications, please make sure to submit all courses from all transcripts in the ONE application.

Where should I send my transcript?

If you would like to submit a transfer credit request, do so online using the UoPeople Self-Service Portal here.

How do I send my original documents or academic certificates? Can I email them instead of sending them in the post?

UoPeople accepts notarized copies of official documents uploaded to your UoPeople Self Services Portal, this can be accessed once you have completed your application to the university and paid your application fee. They may also be scanned and sent to: [email protected] . Otherwise, UoPeople happily accepts scanned documentation.

Is an English Proficiency document required?

Does the University accept a GED diploma?

Yes! University of the People welcomes all individuals who meet the admissions criteria to apply. A GED diploma is an acceptable document to send in for your application to be reviewed.

Any provider on the list of NACES (National Association of Credential Evaluation Services), including:

Can I send my Bachelor’s Diploma instead of my high school certificate?

Yes, you may send a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate diploma AND transcript instead of a high school certificate and transcript.
